I love to sew small things, little cloth dolls in particular.

Kanzashi

I adore kanzashi, traditional Japanese hair accessories made of silk and rice starch based glue.
There are a lot of good examples online.
I've been making them out of ribbon, using a flame to melt the edges together, as I currently don't have any silk.
